As many of you I'm sure will have noticed, my blog posts are significantly shorter these days. My blog is all but retired with the exception of tracklists, yearly reviews and gig news.

Well, I couldn't post this week's without mentioning the gig just gone, a weekend which I will try and summarise in as few words as possible.

The way life plays out sometimes is not without its peculiarities. My weekend began with an important trip home to Merseyside, suspended train services and a resulting late night that I spent all the remaining time toiling with. Yet, when I finally got to Bristol for our latest instalment of Transcend, the relief was that the night that ensued was as successful as we could have possibly imagined. Transcend celebrated its birthday in style and once again, it was a privilege to be a part of. There are really really exciting times ahead. Hopefully we can grow the kind of family that trance brands thrive on.

London to Crewe to Chester to Neston to Chester to Bristol to London. Sadness, joy, disbelief, regret, frustration, laughs, over-excitement, fulfilled dreams, heroes and villains. This weekend has had everything.

Our next event is on the 21st of March where I will be supporting Ronny K. More details to follow in the weeks ahead.
